Jeff Donkersgoed nominated to be the Ontario NDP candidate in Kitchener South—Hespeler

KITCHENER – New Democrats in Kitchener South—Hespeler gathered to nominate Jeff Donkersgoed as the Ontario NDP candidate for the upcoming provincial election.

“I am deeply honoured to be your Ontario NDP candidate in Kitchener South—Hespeler,” said Donkersgoed. “Our community needs a government that puts them first and with Marit Stiles and the Ontario NDP we will do just that. I am ready to fight alongside Marit for the change that our community needs and build a better, brighter future!”

• Jeff Donkersgoed is a secondary school music teacher with the Waterloo Region District School Board and an organizer with the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation (OSSTF/FEESO)
• He has held elected positions with the Waterloo Region Labour Council and the Teacher/Occasional Teacher Bargaining Unit of OSSTF District 24 (Waterloo)
• Jeff currently sits as a member-at-large on the Arts and Advisory Committee with the City of Cambridge.
• He resides in Hespeler with his wife Erika, and their two children, Ellie and Morgan.
